Honda ES model Shifter. Convert your Electric Shift Honda to a manual shift. Ideal for emergency situations; this shifter can be easily stored on the ATV and installed in minutes with no special tools.

This is also a great permanent alternative for older ATV electric shift models equipped with problematic, computer controlled ESP.

It will need to be confirmed that the unit the shifter is being purchased for has a 12mm hex slug on the left hand side of the unit and NOT a 8mm hex slug in the front of the unit.

It's a well made product. My 99 Honda foreman 450es. Had been previously converted to manual shift. From original owner. Held up for 10yrs+. I had to weld the new shifter on due to previous damage. Works perfectly. Not cheap made shifter.

Not as it should be

I chose this one because it was American made. Had no problems with the fact that it was double the price of shifters on other sites because of that. Well, I am sure that it will fit and function as it should. My issue is the fact that it was double the price but is full of poor grinding marks, and incomplete welding on the end cap for the hub. I also feel like a fine thread grade 8 bolt would be more appropriate considering the price. I wish I could post pictures of this thing. For what I got, should have went to the online big box seller for half the price.

Ours is HAND made of USA steel, not cheap Chinese steel that will not hold up. 6 Months down the road, when your shifter bends or breaks, the big box store selling China parts will not be taking care of you. We appreciate your purchase, we apologize that you were not fully satisfied.

Tight fitting shift lever!

This foot shift lever fits nice and tight on our 2002 Foreman ES. We had a cheaper one that was loose fitting and wouldn't stay on. This one is well worth the money!
