How can I tell if my 2018 Full Size Pro-Fit Ranger is the newly redesigned mid-2017 realease?

(Released in July 2017 as the “New” 2018 Ranger)

Are you confused yet? Us too. Happens to the best of us. Basically, the easiest way (we think) to tell if your 2018 Full Size Pro-Fit Ranger is the newly redesigned Ranger released in the second half of 2017 is to look at the body plastics and panels specifically around the door (highlighted in yellow above). Notice the changes around the wheel wells and dump bed?

We also believe that another way is to locate your dump bed handle. On the older body styles, the dump bed handle is located under the dump bed. On the newly redesigned vehicles, the dump bed handle is located in a new recessed area on the side of the dump bed.

The Framed Door Kit for the Polaris Full Size Pro-fit Ranger attaches to the vehicle without cutting into body plastics and requires NO drilling to install. Equipped with an automotive grade gasket, durable UV resistant PVC coated heavyweight nylon fabric, and an automotive style latching system, the Framed Door Kit provides a tight fit around the perimeter of the door to help resist water and wind intrusion into the cab.

2014 Polaris Ranger doors

Doors were relatively easy to install. Fit as good as can be expected. The door seal adhesive did not stick the the ROPS or Polaris body even with proper perperation. Added 3M adhesion promoter and a second strip of 3M VHB double sided mounting tape to the UTV. I was then able to seccessfully stick the second door seal with this set up. I will need to purchase more door seal for the second door. Other than the adhesion problem I am happy with my purchase.
