Far exceeds OE specs to reduce stretch and increase chain life. Compare to some of the Chinese chains being sold as OE replacements you will see this by far exceeds most any chain on the market at this price point. Only top of the line chains from DID, EK, and RK which cost twice as much can compare in overall quality and strength. Yes its overkill on this bike but you want a workhorse not a lightweight that will be wore out before the end of the season.
